Meet Grace

I’m best known as a newborn and family photographer serving Roswell and the northern Atlanta area. I work closely with families to capture all their special memories. I was honored to be invited to document this amazing UGA themed birthday party for a very special two year old. This family of faithful University of Georgia fans went with a “Back Two Back” theme, playing on the back to back national championships won by UGA. They turned it into a creative dream party for children!

The Entrance

A dramatic balloon arch greeted families at the front door. The arch included red, white, and pink balloons of varying sizes. A large acrylic sign greeted guests with the “Back Two Back” birthday theme. Next, in the backyard a white bouncy castle framed with another balloon arch awaited children. If you look closely, you will notice the custom “How ’bout them dawgs” sign inside the bouncy castle. The incredible balloon arches were by The Pop Shop based in Milton, Georgia.

The UGA Themed Birthday Party Setup

The party was in a beautiful backyard around the pool. The setup included tents and adult-sized tables covered in red and white checkered tablecloths to one side of the pool. The other side had a special kid’s table. Near the children’s table was an extra special photo wall. The wall was faux boxwood, framed by a balloon arch with a large “Happy Birthday” sign and plenty of fun props for photos.

The Kid’s Table

The children attending the party had their very own head table supplied by Party Bound. The table was white and surrounded by acrylic chairs. Each table setting featured a Bulldog stuffed animal for each child to bring home as a party favor.

The Food for a UGA Themed Birthday Party

Next up is the food table that included classic tailgate food items. BBQ was the main dish with sweet tea and lemonade available for drinks. Cans had special “Back Two Back” signs to celebrate two nattys and the two year old!

The Fun in the Details of a UGA Themed Birthday Party

This amazing University of Georgia children’s party had the best details. These parents took a creative twist on UGA’s back to back national championship wins and turned it into a “Back TWO Back” themed party for their daughter’s second birthday! How creative! One of my favorite details was the Ring the Bell boxwood walls. It’s a UGA tradition for fans to line up to ring the bell on campus after a win. This fun wall turned it into a way to ring for a drink!

And of Course…the UGA Themed Birthday Cake!

Finally we have the UGA themed birthday cake for this two year old’s birthday party. The cake was a girly two year old’s dream! Soft pink with touches of red and black and adorned with roses, it was clearly delicious!
