We are so excited to host our 3rd Annual “Classic Children Portraits” Event this year! We will be offering two session dates this year: Saturday, February 24 & Saturday, June 8th! These special “Classic Children Portraits” have become an event that so many families attend year after year.

What Makes Our Classic Children Portraits Special?
Our Classic Children Portraits are perfect for parents who need updated portraits of their children & not their entire family. They are “mini session” style, meaning quick & easy 15-minute sessions. Families receive all their digital images from their session & all images will be in color & black and white…. so double the images. The beauty of our Classic Children Portraits is that they are meant to be timeless & classic, guaranteed to never go out of style! Another great perk is that since these sessions are short & sweet, it’s also the perfect opportunity for sibling portraits. My dear friend & local Atlanta artist Claire King (@claireeliseking) will also have a pop-up shop at this year’s event. We can’t wait to see what beautiful artwork & watercolor pieces she will have on display for families to purchase!

Session Details
Our Classic Children Portrait sessions include the following:
- A 15-minute session, allowing plenty of time for those very classic portraits as well as time to warm up & capture those fun personality shots! It’s the best of both worlds.
- All the BEST digital images from our time together in color & black & white
- A seamless white backdrop, keeping the focus on your child/children
- Sessions are conveniently held at Grace’s studio, located in Downtown Roswell
- Editing of your portraits is crisp & timeless. Our top priority for our Classic Children Portraits is for your portraits to NEVER go out of style!
Day of Session Tips
- Arrive several minutes early to your session! This extra time will allow your family to get checked in. The last thing you want is for your children to feel rushed & stressed before portraits!
- Get dressed at the studio. You won’t want those beautiful outfits to wrinkle in the car. We have two public restrooms where children can get changed & go to the restroom beforehand.
- Bring a brush. Sounds silly, but don’t forget a brush to smooth out car hair.
- Sessions are held back to back, so if you are late there is no room for additional time. We run a very tight schedule!

Our top two rules for choosing the PERFECT Classic Children Portrait outfit are: 1. “Less is More” and 2. When in doubt, add a monogram!
We want your child to be the focus, so selecting soft, solid colors is always best. In addition, adding a personalized touch of a monogram or name makes your child’s outfit extra special & personal. We love it when families add a simple monogram on the collar, the top of knee-high socks, or if wearing a sweater on the left chest.
