Classic Girl Nursery Decor from an Alpharetta Newborn Session

One of my favorite parts of Alpharetta in-home newborn photography is being able to work in a space with incredible classic girl nursery decor! Each nursery is different and tells a unique story for each family. This recent session had a unique and beautiful nursery design that may inspire your baby girl’s nursery! The Details in this Classic Girl Nursery Decor

This family did an amazing job of creating a bright room with touches of soft color throughout. The leather rocker not only brought warmth to the space, but really elevated the look of the traditional nursery glider/rocker! Wainscotting lined the entire room, creating visual interest throughout. Playful prints were incorporated into the crib sheets, pillows, and drapery. I especially loved the fabric of the curtains that features green, pink, and blue florals with the unexpected fun of tigers!

The crib was white but had the added interest of clear acrylic slats in the front. This was complemented by the watercolor artwork hanging above the crib. The artwork was framed in acrylic and flanked by beautiful gold metal fronds.

Creating Meaningful Family Portraits

One of the best parts of photographing families in their homes is including their unique nursery decor and design choices throughout the home. The portraits are even more meaningful when they are in a space lovingly designed for your newborn baby! It’s also more comforting for your other children to take photos in their own home. They will be in the midst of adjusting to a new baby. Being in their home will bring comfort during their photo session. I also love getting to capture true interactions of a toddler sibling with their new baby! These portraits of this sweet sister peeking over the crib at her new baby sister are such sweet memories to keep.
