Atlanta Newborn Photographer: In-Home Newborn Session

Hi! I’m Grace, an Atlanta Newborn Photographer. What a treat this special Atlanta, in-home newborn session was! I’ve worked with this special family several times before and it’s always such a treat!

While many may think a newborn session is just about the baby, for me, it’s the complete opposite. My newborn sessions are about your whole family loving and embracing your newest blessing.

Newborn Philosophy:

I strive to achieve classic and heartfelt newborn portrait that will be loved for many years. I want to capture the family & baby just as they are. You won’t find me wrapping your baby like a mummy or placing them in odd “poses”. Instead, I focus on documenting the family and baby, just as they are through real, day-to-day moments.

Newborn Workflow:

On session day, my main objective is to work with the entire family first and then break down from there, working with siblings and dads so they can go about their day. Next, I’ll focus on mom and baby and then baby portraits at the very end. By this time, the baby will be completely tuckered out, and that’s when I can focus on them and their tiny little features. At the very end I always capture the details of the baby’s nursery, that parents have so lovingly perfected.

For this session, I utilized my favorite Beaufort Bonnet Bow Swaddle and a simple white Finley LouLou Company knotted gown. Both the newborn outfits, mom’s dress, and big sister’s dress are from my client wardrobe. The use of my client wardrobe for newborns, women, and children is included with EVERY session!

Grace, newborn and family photographer serves families located in Roswell, Alpharetta, Brookhaven, Marietta, Johns Creek and surrounding Atlanta, GA areas. She has a private natural-light studio in Roswell and 60+ private acres in Dahlonega for families to enjoy!
